Trump is campaigning using tax dollars

Trump turns almost every speech into a campaign rally.  He did it again in Cleveland yesterday.

From this article: “Though billed as an official White House event, and therefore funded with taxpayer money, Trump was overtly political in his remarks ahead of Tuesday’s primary election. He celebrated his own poll numbers, repeatedly attacked Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and urged Ohioans to elect Rep. James B. Renacci (R-Ohio), who is running against Brown.”

This is obviously wrong.  Trump needs to separate campaign events from presidential ones.  Taxpayers should not be paying for his campaign.

Any network that covered the campaign part of his speech should give equal time to the Democrats.

Trump’s online store only charges sales tax in three states

Trump has bashed Amazon.com for not paying sales tax but his online store only charges tax for three states.

“Amazon has in recent years begun collecting sales tax in all 45 states that require it, as well as the District…”

Trump is such a hypocrite!

Sad!

Many Republicans don’t worry about global warming

From this Washington Post:

“By and large, Democrats accept global warming and urge tougher policies to stop it, while many Republicans are skeptics. In the March poll, Gallup found that 91 percent of Democrats worried “a great deal/fair amount” about global warming; the comparable Republican figure was only 33 percent. The gap has grown. In 2000, it was 78 percent to 64 percent. “
