Trump is withdrawing the US from another international organization

After Trump, if the next president wants to rejoin organizations and treaties, will anyone trust the US?

The painting of Republican presidents in the White House

The recent CBS interview showed there was a painting of Trump and Republican presidents hanging up in the White House.

The tweets below provide background on the painting and artist.  It is similar to a painting of dogs and someone made a great parody including Trump and other accused or guilty sexual predators.  All three are in the tweets.

Zinke replaces his department’s Inspector General

She was inspecting Zinke and has been replaced with a political appointee.  If Democrats win the House, they should investigate this.  Republicans have not held the Trump administration accountable and that will change.

Republicans will try again to kill Obamacare after the midterms

Obamacare is more popular than ever but that doesn’t matter to McConnell.

Trump’s AP interview -10/16/18: more lies

Trump was interviewed by the Associated Press (AP) yesterday and told his usual lies.  To me, the media helps spread his lies even if they point out the facts.  Trump wins by getting the attention that could have been used for other stories.   Excessive media coverage of Trump is very unfair to Democrats.

Daniel Dale’s thread.  Obviously, Trump will do nothing about the UN climate report.  We’re all going to suffer because of his ignorance and lies.

Sleazy Trump business deals

First we read about the taxes, now sleazy business deals.   Just like the tax story, I doubt this will get much attention.  Trump cult members don’t care what he does.

from the article:

“It is becoming increasingly clear that, in the language of business schools, the Trump Organization’s core competency is in profiting from misrepresentation and deceit and, potentially, fraud.”

Walker should be sacked:

Another study that shows that race more than economics is why Trump won

from the article:

” First, attitudes on race and immigration were crucial distinguishing characteristics of both Trump and Clinton switchers. The more racially conservative an Obama or third party voter was, the more likely they were to switch to Trump. Similarly, the more racially liberal a Romney or third-party voter was, the more likely they were to switch to Clinton.
Second, class was largely irrelevant in switching to Trump. Keeping racial attitudes constant, white working-class voters were not more likely to switch to Trump. The white working-class voters who did switch tended to score about as highly on measures of racial conservatism and anti-immigrant attitudes as wealthier switchers.”

Trump won because of racial resentment
