Trump should not be making political pronouncements at presidential events funded by taxpayers. Can’t anyone stop him? Do Republicans even care?
From this Washington Post article: “President Trump on Thursday used a taxpayer-funded trip to Illinois to openly advocate for electing Republicans to Congress — blurring the line between official and political events in the heat of the midterm campaign season. “
Trump was wrong to give a political speech at the VFW yesterday. He told them what they were seeing and reading wasn’t happening. That’s 1984 territory.
The VFW apologized for their members that booed the press but what did they expect with a speaker who calls the press the enemy of the people? Too bad they don’t have the guts to blame Trump too – audience members were only responding to his ideas.
Coincidence? I don’t think so.

I totally agree. Everyone has made up their mind on whether or not Trump is a liar and bigot so we don’t need to hear the same stuff over and over. Let’s hear more about Democratic policies. Trump uses the media because he knows how to get attention by saying outrageous stuff.
The lies and other stuff should still be documented, just not given as much TV time.
Trump’s comment was racist and based on nothing. I don’t see any Republican leaders objecting to it. They know their base has lots of racists in it who approve of Trump’s attacks.
He keeps doing it and no Republicans object to his racism.
I am skeptical of Elizabeth Warren’s claim of Native American ancestry. It sounds like it can’t be proven or disproven.
However, Trump’s behavior is disgusting. In addition to slurring Native Americans, he mocked the #MeToo movement.
