Trump pal Roger Stone met with a Russian

Yet another undisclosed meeting between someone in Trump’s campaign and a Russian.  As this article notes “… at least 11 Trump associates or campaign officials have acknowledged interactions with a Russian during the election season or presidential transition. Those interactions have become public in the year and a half since a Trump spokeswoman said no one associated with the campaign had communications with Russians or other foreign entities.”

They lied!

Sad!

Trump charity charged with ‘illegal conduct’

This breaking story states: “The New York attorney general on Thursday filed suit against President Trump and his three eldest children alleging “persistently illegal conduct” at the president’s personal charity, saying Trump repeatedly misused the nonprofit — to pay off his businesses’ creditors, to decorate one of his golf clubs and to stage a multimillion dollar giveaway at his 2016 campaign events.”

The alleged violations aren’t really news.  The Washington Post has been reporting for years about shady actions by the charity such as buying pictures of Trump.

Trump’s response:

update:

There was no massive amount of illegal voting in New Hampshire

I expect Trump to claim there is voter fraud in the 2018 elections, especially in critical states for the House such as Pennsylvania and California.

70% of voters think Trump shouldn’t fire Mueller

66% of Republicans believe Trump’s lie that there were spies in his campaign.  There are no facts to support it and prominent congressional Republicans have said it’s not true.  The Republican voters believe Trump.

The media paid too much attention to Clinton’s email during the 2016 election

Here are two articles.

Clinton’s emails got as much New York Times front-page coverage in six days as policy did in 69.

“Clinton’s controversies got more attention than Trump’s (19 percent versus 15 percent) and were more focused,” according to a study author cited in this column.

Clinton was wrong to use a personal email server and none of her explanations were satisfactory.  The email issue was not the only reason she lost.  Still, that does not excuse the excessive coverage this issue got compared to her policy views and Trump’s much bigger personal flaws.

Sad!

Bolton’s top aide doesn’t believe in Russia election meddling

Bolton’s new top aide “…said last year that U.S. intelligence reports on Russia’s election meddling were “rigged.”” according to this article.

The article states he “…even said that President Trump should “pardon everyone” under investigation in the Russia matter.”

Where does the Trump administration find these people?

Sad!

A great idea for a law

The Trump campaign should have report the Russian offer for dirt on Clinton to the FBI.
