Right-wingers always blame everything liberal on George Soros. I think they don’t believe anyone could protest against their ideas unless someone paid them to do it.
They don’t talk about the money poured into their side by wealthy donors. Robert Mercer probably spent over $30 million on the 2016 election. We now know that he contributed to a group that spent $5 million on anti-Muslim ads and that the group “worked with Facebook and Google ad sales teams to optimize the reach of the ads.”

This administration has a big problem with ethics starting at the top. Sad!
Trump claims that people are sneaking into America because of DACA but you had to be here by 2007 to qualify for DACA. He blames Democrats but he’s the one that terminated DACA and turned down reasonable deals that would not have been acceptable to the bigots that are a large part of his base. He could have a DACA deal if he wanted one.
Is he lying or is he that ignorant on the facts? I think he’s lying to get his base worked up his most reliable issue – immigration. He says nonsense like “Our country is being stolen.”
He says the Democrats want no borders – that’s just an outrageous lie with no basis in fact.
As this column states about Trump’s underlying message: “The just-below-the-surface message is this: White people made this country great. Brown people are flooding in. They pose an existential threat to your daily life and what the future holds for your children.”

Trump rarely gives a speech that is not at least partially a campaign speech. Taxpayers should not have to pay the costs for the speech if he is incapable of sticking to presidential business.
This is a summary of his “infrastructure” speech on March 29th. He told lies, bashed “fake news”, Hillary Clinton and former President Obama, and even talked about the ratings for “Roseanne”. I don’t want to pay for this! He should do this with his own money.
The top cable networks eventually cut away from the speech and they should have.
Trump took advantage of the networks in 2016 and he is still doing it. Trump is already running for reelection and Democrats should get equal time when he gives a political speech. Sad!
