Trump makes our allies angry again
Trump made people in France and England angry with remarks about violence in their countries. I hope they weren’t expecting him to tell the truth.
Trump sucks up to dictators and alienates countries that are our friends. This is a dangerous policy that will make us less safe. Why would anyone give confidential intelligence to the US now?
China and the Trump administration are both wrong here
This congressman has not heard Trump lie
Jim Jordan said he has not heard Trump lie. Apparently, some Republicans don’t care about the truth. They won’t do anything to make Trump be honest.
Sad!
Maybe other countries should be worried about American immigrants
As part of Trump’s bigoted anti-immigrant rhetoric, he lies about how much crime they commit. This article points out that “…the United States incarcerates a larger share of its population than any other country.”
Maybe other countries should be worried about taking immigrants from the US!
Sad!
Trump is campaigning using tax dollars
Trump turns almost every speech into a campaign rally. He did it again in Cleveland yesterday.
From this article: “Though billed as an official White House event, and therefore funded with taxpayer money, Trump was overtly political in his remarks ahead of Tuesday’s primary election. He celebrated his own poll numbers, repeatedly attacked Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and urged Ohioans to elect Rep. James B. Renacci (R-Ohio), who is running against Brown.”
This is obviously wrong. Trump needs to separate campaign events from presidential ones. Taxpayers should not be paying for his campaign.
Any network that covered the campaign part of his speech should give equal time to the Democrats.
Covers: Are You Lonely for Me
“Are You Lonely for Me” was written by Bert Berns and recorded by Freddie Scott in 1966. The cover versions include a great one by Al Green (1971) and Philadelphia band Sweet Stavin Chain (1970).
