Here’s the AP Fact check on Trump’s trade numbers.
I think he’s a liar but at a minimum, he’s leaving things out to paint a bleaker picture which jives with his view that the whole world (except Russia, I guess) is ripping us off.
Sad!

66% of Republicans believe Trump’s lie that there were spies in his campaign. There are no facts to support it and prominent congressional Republicans have said it’s not true. The Republican voters believe Trump.
The truth is not close to Trump’s lies and nonsense.
This has a chart:
Trump is meeting with North Korea without an adviser who is an expert on nuclear physics.
The article linked to in the tweet notes: “Mr. Trump is the first president since 1941 not to name a science adviser, a position created during World War II to guide the Oval Office on technical matters ranging from nuclear warfare to global pandemics.”
Remember, he thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax. Not listening to scientists will affect public health and safety.
Sad!
This article answers questions about trade and tariffs.
It’s unreal how much Trump sucks up to Putin.
Russia, not the US, invaded Crimea. Blame Putin, not Obama!
Trump quote in this article:
“You’ll have to ask Obama, because he was the one that let Crimea get away” he said when asked about the annexation. “He allowed Russia to take Crimea. I may have had a much different attitude.”
Here’s Paul Krugman’s opinion of the G7 and some of his tweets from earlier today. He wrote about Trump: ” He didn’t put America first; Russia first would be a better description. And he didn’t demand drastic policy changes from our allies; he demanded that they stop doing bad things they aren’t doing. This wasn’t a tough stance on behalf of American interests, it was a declaration of ignorance and policy insanity.”
Here are two articles.
Clinton’s emails got as much New York Times front-page coverage in six days as policy did in 69.
“Clinton’s controversies got more attention than Trump’s (19 percent versus 15 percent) and were more focused,” according to a study author cited in this column.
Clinton was wrong to use a personal email server and none of her explanations were satisfactory. The email issue was not the only reason she lost. Still, that does not excuse the excessive coverage this issue got compared to her policy views and Trump’s much bigger personal flaws.
Sad!
As an Orioles fan, this has been difficult to watch.
Here’s an analysis of his terrible 2018 season.
