I will be 65 later this year.  There has never been a Chief Justice appointed by a Democrat in my lifetime.

Bill Shine’s wife tweeted racist tweets

Bill Shine was recently appointed to a high-level job by Trump.  He resigned from Fox for during all of the sexual harassment problems there.  Now, we find that his wife tweeted racist tweets.  Of course, Trump won’t criticize her.

Trump and his pal Putin

This is pathetic:  “The president rarely reads his nightly briefing book, which focuses on issues likely to come up in meetings, a second senior U.S. official said. To slim down Trump’s workload, aides have sometimes put the most critical information in a red folder, the official said.”

The difference between a conservative court and a court with a right-leaning agenda

This is a very thoughtful analysis by a conservative.

It states “In several of the most controverted areas that the Court has entered and in which its decisions have had a profound effect on law and on our national life—voting rights, gerrymandering, affirmative action, abortion, campaign finance, and most recently mandatory agency fees to public sector unions—the Court has undermined or overturned precedents that embodied longstanding and difficult compromise settlements of sharply opposed interests and principles. These decisions are not the work of a conservative Court.”

Jim Jordan update

First, he said he didn’t know anything about the abuse.  Now, it sounds like he was aware of it.   Liar!

Trump, of course, believes Jordan and not the people who say Jordan knew what was going on.
